Overview
Best Phone Numbers operates as a phone number marketplace. We sell or lease phone numbers and assist with porting them to the customer’s chosen carrier. We do not provide phone service and do not manage phone numbers after porting.
Because phone numbers are unique, regulated assets, refunds are limited and subject to the timing of porting.
Purchased Phone Numbers (One-Time Purchase)
- Before porting begins:
You may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. - After porting begins:
No refunds are available once porting has started. - After porting completes:
No refunds are available once the number has been successfully ported to your carrier.
Once porting begins, the phone number is assigned and cannot be returned or resold.
Leased Phone Numbers (Subscription)
- Before porting begins:
You may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase. - After porting begins:
No refunds are available for the current billing period. - Cancellation:
Lease cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Any remaining lease value is forfeited.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The phone number has been successfully ported
- Incorrect or incomplete porting information was provided
- A carrier delays or rejects a port request
- You change your mind after porting has started
Carrier acceptance and porting timelines are outside our control.
Exceptions
We may issue a refund or credit at our sole discretion if:
- A technical error occurred on our part
- A purchased number is unavailable due to our error
- We are unable to complete porting due to our error (not carrier-related)
Important Notes
- Phone numbers are not physical goods and cannot be returned
- Best Phone Numbers is not a carrier and does not control numbers after porting
- Carrier service fees are separate and paid directly to your carrier
